What are Australian Partner Organisations?

Australian Partner Organisations (APO) are Australian based organisations that work with the VIDA Program to establish or further develop partnerships and relationships with Host Organisations.
An APO can be a government department, non-government organisation, educational institutions or private company, or a partnership from organisations and companies working in diverse sectors throughout Australia. Unlike a Host Organisation, the APO is based in Australia.
APOs currently involved with the VIDA program are listed on the right.

What are Host Organisations?

Host Organisations or HO are government departments, non-government organisations (NGOs), educational institutions and private companies based in the Asia Pacific region that host a volunteer for the duration of an assignment. A HO has applied to VIDA for support in an assignment. In return for the volunteer support, a HO is required to provide its VIDA volunteers with appropriate workspaces and equipment required to fulfill the assignment, and cover any work related travel expenses.
