How do HOs develop volunteer assignments?

Once you have identified a need within your organisation and would like to host a VIDA Volunteer you will need to develop an Assignment Proposal to submit to the VIDA Program. The VIDA Program has an Assignment Proposal Form which clearly sets out the information needed for this proposal.

The In-Country Manager (ICM) based in each host country is an excellent resource during the assignment development process. ICMs can help Host Organisations to develop assignments that fit within the priorities of the VIDA Program in each country. Contact details for each ICM can be found in the downloadable HO Info Pack.

Once you have completed the Assignment Proposal Form you should submit it to the ICM in your country.

Where should HOs go for more help?

For further information, download the HO Information Pack.

For HOs interested in developing an assignment, you are able to download the Assignment Proposal Form from our website.
